Founded in 1875, MPS Eggs is sixth-generation, family-owned business and one of the ten largest shell egg producers in the United States, with a flock of 11 million laying hens.

MPS Eggs is looking to the future and making a commitment to environmental sustainability. They worked with PSG Energy Group to install a solar array at their new state-of-the-art headquarters in North Manchester, Indiana. The solar array offsets energy consumption in their hen houses, particularly in the peak of the day when their energy consumption is greatest.

With the installation of a solar array system, MPS Eggs reduced their CO2 emissions by 1,000 tons each year. That’s equivalent to taking two hundred cars off the road.
